Join our Wheel Throwing workshop that's designed for beginners eager to explore ceramics as a hobby or looking to enjoy a fun, hands-on activity with friends and family! 

Be it a curiosity or interest to explore pottery, this introductory workshop will bring you through the basic knowledge and skills required for wheel throwing. Discover basic techniques — from coning and centering to opening and lifting. 

Select from our range of in-house glazes and they will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up in 4-12 weeks.

Duration: 2 hours
Outcome: 2 fired vessel

Extended Learning Sessions

With up to 2 hours per session, you'll have ample time to explore various wheel-throwing techniques at a comfortable, unhurried pace.

Firing Provision

Depending on your pace and creative direction, you may create 2–3 ceramic pieces during your session.
However, only two pieces will be selected for firing and will be ready for collection within 4 to 12 weeks.

Small Class Size

With a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio, we ensure that every student gets the attention they need. This allows for a more personalized and effective learning experience.

When do we begin

Please aim to arrive on time for your selected session.
Kindly note that reminders won’t be sent, so we recommend setting your own.
If you need to reschedule, don’t hesitate to reach out.
No-shows forfeit the booking unless approved for valid reasons.
Late arrivals beyond 30 mins may not be able to join the session.

You may expect to collect your piece between 4 to 12 weeks after the session.
Common guidelines

Be punctual. This allows both our trainer and yourself to maximise your allocated session time. Note that the last 15 minutes of each class is dedicated to cleaning up your workstation.

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any precious clothing/accessories to prevent any unwanted damage.

It is strongly advisable to have short, trimmed nails. Long nails will get in the way of you having fun creating your masterpieces.

Mask wearing is optional. But please wear a mask if you have the sniffles or having a cough.
