What you can expect from this course:

Build a strong foundation in handbuilding techniques, exploring various methods such as kneading, rolling, pressing, and pinching to bring your creative ideas to life.
Discover and apply a range of decorative techniques to express your personal style and enhance your work.
Learn the fundamentals of glaze application to elevate the aesthetic and finish of your ceramic pieces.
Explore the versatility of handbuilding by creating unique items—from fridge magnets and accessory trays to coffee cups and beyond. Embrace the beauty of individuality, where no two pieces are ever the same.
Based on your creative direction and progress, you can expect to complete approximately 6 to 9 finished ceramic pieces by the end of the course.

Extended Learning Sessions

With up to 3 hours per session, enjoy ample time to explore and refine your skills with personalized guidance. Our workshops offer a relaxed pace, allowing you to grow at your own speed.

Firing Provision

We believe in letting your creativity flow without restrictions. Fire as many pieces as you need to explore, experiment, and perfect your craft throughout your course.

Small Class Size

With a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio, we ensure that every student gets the attention they need. This allows for a more personalized and effective learning experience.

4 Sessions (Weekly)
3 Hours per session
1 Bag of 10kg white stoneware clay
2-3 Hand-built vessels per class
All vessels will be glazed and fired

Be punctual. This allows both our trainer and yourself to maximise your allocated session time.
Note that the last 15 minutes of each class is dedicated to cleaning up your workstation.

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any precious clothing/accessories to prevent any unwanted damage.

It is strongly advisable to have short, trimmed nails. Long nails will get in the way of you having fun creating your masterpieces.

Mask wearing is optional. But please wear a mask if you have the sniffles or having a cough.
