Embark on a creative journey with our specialised course designed for beginners to intermediate learners. Dive hands-first into the world of pottery as you master the timeless craft of wheel throwing.

What you can expect from this course:

  • Develop a strong foundation in wheel throwing while exploring your own artistic expression through clay manipulation and form.

  • Explore a variety of techniques to discover and refine your individual style.

  • Learn the basics of glaze application to enhance the surface and character of your ceramic works.

  • Gain an understanding of essential clay preparation processes, including wedging and recycling.

  • With a focus on consistent practice, this course equips you with the skills and knowledge to confidently continue your pottery journey independently.

  • Based on your creative direction and progress, you can expect to complete approximately 6 to 8 finished ceramic pieces by the end of your 5-week course and 10 to 12 for 10-week course.

Extended Learning Sessions

With up to 3 hours per session, enjoy ample time to explore and refine your skills with personalized guidance. Our workshops offer a relaxed pace, allowing you to grow at your own speed.

Firing Provision

We believe in letting your creativity flow without restrictions. Fire as many pieces as you need to explore, experiment, and perfect your craft throughout your course.

Small Class Size

With a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio, we ensure that every student gets the attention they need. This allows for a more personalized and effective learning experience.

When do we begin

5 or 10 Sessions (Weekly)

1 Pottery starter toolkit
1 Bag of 10kg White stoneware clay
All vessels will be glazed and fired

Common guidelines

Be punctual. This allows both our trainer and yourself to maximise your allocated session time.
Note that the last 15 minutes of each class is dedicated to cleaning up your workstation.

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any precious clothing/accessories to prevent any unwanted damage.

It is strongly advisable to have short, trimmed nails. Long nails will get in the way of you having fun creating your masterpieces.

Mask wearing is optional. But please wear a mask if you have the sniffles or having a cough.
