4-Week Advanced Course - Alternative ways to large form throwing

This course explores techniques for creating mid-to-large-scale vessels. Learners will double their creation size by throwing and joining elements, as well as combining coiling with wheel throwing.

What you can expect from this course:
- Introduction to throwing open vessels with precision via calipers
- Introduction and theory of application for joining and throwing techniques
- Hands-on throwing of open vessels for joining technique application
- Introduction to adding clay coil to vessel
- Technique practice - Throwing with clay coil attached

Please note:
Duration: 3 hours per session weekly
 Pre-requisite: Able to handle at least 1kg of clay

Be punctual. This allows both our trainer and yourself to maximise your allocated session time. Note that the last 15 minutes of each class is dedicated to cleaning up your workstation.

Wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any precious clothing/accessories to prevent any unwanted damage.

It is strongly advisable to have short, trimmed nails. Long nails will get in the way of you having fun creating your masterpieces.

Mask wearing is optional. But please wear a mask if you have the sniffles or having a cough.

Please ensure you are able to attend all the sessions listed above as there will be no make up classes catered for individuals.
